With the summer season in full swing, what better way to delight your senses than to indulge in the mother of all fruits, mangoes? This impeccable mix of mangoes, strawberries and mint leaves is ideal to unwind with, and reap some extra pleasure on a hot summer’s afternoon and perfect for black tea apologists and green tea loyalists alike. With no further ado, let’s dive straight into the recipe.
Ingredients
- 6 servings of Avataa Mango Black tea / Green tea
- 2 cups of Pureed Mango
- 1500 ml of cold water
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 thinly sliced mango
- 2-3 sliced strawberries
- 100 grams of ice (crushed or cubed)
Directions
- Bring water to a boil. Place tea leaves in a teapot, and mango puree and mint leaves in a separate pot.
- Pour ½ boiled water over tea leaves, steep for 4 minutes, strain, place in the fridge to cool completely and set aside.
- Pour remaining boiling water over mango puree and mint leaves, stir and set aside to cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the contents to a pitcher and stir well. Add the crushed ice or the ice cubes.
- Shake contents till cold, for about 30 seconds. Garnish with mint leaves, thinly sliced mangoes and 2-3 strawberries.
